Dr. Abel Guevara is a nationally recognized subject matter expert in Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS), Complex Rehab Technology (CRT), pharmacy, and assistive technology. With over 25 years of leadership and hands-on experience in the MedTech industry, Dr. Guevara has demonstrated unmatched expertise across the spectrum of healthcare operations, accreditation, compliance, and revenue cycle management. Dr. Guevara鈥檚 extensive knowledge includes operational excellence, payer relations, healthcare finance, human resources, and sales strategy. He has led multi-disciplinary teams and organizations, holding executive roles such as Chief Operating Officer, Vice President, and Compliance Officer. He is currently the Head of Operations & Student Success at RxTechExam. These roles showcase his ability to streamline processes, drive business growth, and ensure compliance with the highest standards in healthcare regulations and accreditation. Dr. Guevara holds a Doctor of Health Administration degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Master of Health Information Management degree from Texas State University. He has also completed multiple advanced certifications in healthcare management and digital transformation.
