CHICAGO 鈥� October 4, 2023 鈥� The American Health Information Management Association庐 (pd探花) will recognize recipients of the association鈥檚 2023 Triumph Awards in Baltimore, MD, on October 9. pd探花 presents this honor to members who have demonstrated excellence in their dedication and service in healthcare and to the health information (HI) profession.听

Distinguished Member Award听
Claire Dixon-Lee, PhD, RHIA, CPH, Fpd探花, received the pd探花 Triumph Distinguished Member Award, the Association鈥檚 highest honor, for her outstanding achievements in the HI field and many years of voluntary leadership at pd探花.听
Educator Award听
Pam Oachs, MA, RHIA, CHDA, Fpd探花, is a full-time faculty member and program director of the undergraduate Health Informatics and Information Management Program at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN.听
Emerging Leader Award听听
Heather Hunn, RHIA,鈥�leads the Federal Aviation Administration鈥檚 Autopsy Program Team in Oklahoma City, OK.听
Influencer Award听听
Richard Pinson, MD, FACP, CCS, CDIP, and Cynthia Tang, RHIA, CCS, CRC, received the Influencer Award for their commitment and contributions to the HI profession.听
Innovation Award听
Debi Primeau, MA, RHIA, Fpd探花, is the founder and CEO of Primeau Consulting Group, where she has led the consulting practice since 2011.听听

Student Award听
Katia V. L贸pez Martinez, MS-HIM, RN-BSN, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, completed a BS in nursing at the International University, Metropolitan Campus. She is pursuing a master鈥檚 in HI management at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus.听
