This is the only way you will know that you pet eats healthy. Your dog(s) will love these. I know that peanut butter is one of dogs favorite flavors, and kids’. So let’s get started. Follow the steps below and bake these yummy Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits today.

The measurements here makes about three dozen large biscuits. If you want less you need to adjust the measurements of each ingredient accordingly.

What you need:

2½ cups whole wheat flour (see note below for substitutions)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup natural peanut butter
1 cup water
2 tablespoons honey
1 egg

***NOTE: Some Dogs may be allergic to flour and/or wheat. You can make these wheat free by substituting rice flour of coconut flour. It may change the consistency of your mixture, but still works.

Instructions for Baking:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with cookie sheet paper. In the bowl combine the peanut butter, water, and oil. Add the flour slowly until you end up with smooth dough (no lumps). Tip: A mixer will speed up this process but hand mixing works just fine.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4-inch thick, and cut out biscuits with you favorite shaped cookie cutter. Place on baking sheets about 1/4 inches apart. Cookies will not spread out much. Bake until golden brown and cool completely before serving.
